28 Apr Street Tree Trial, Mosman Council, Sydney, Greener Neighbourhoods Program

As part of a council wide Street Tree Priorities Strategy for Mosman Council, in Sydney, NSW under The Greener Neighbourhood’s Program to reduce the Heat Island Effect, improve tree canopy cover and biodiversity, retard water runoff, and create habitat corridors and links, a trial along Military Road has been installed.

One of the 6 strategies and scenarios included linking tree soil growing zones to increase soil volumes and allow for shared root zones and greater tree and soil resilience.
