Untapped Medical Benefits using products made from Native Stingless Bees

It is great to start seeing some research that is tapping into the unique hive products made by our Australian native stingless bees.

pHD student Karina Hamilton,  USC  has located a unique chemical substance from the native stingless bees’ building material (cerumen) for the potential use in wound treatment.   She has actually found 4 components that posessed wound healing, anti-oxidant and anti inflammatory characteristics.
