UNSW and TAFE Lecturing

In addition to her practice Elke lectures in Design Communications 2 at the University of New South Wales and has recently lectured a component for the Diploma of Arboriculture course at Ryde TAFE.

Elke Haege awarded prize for her work at The Ski Club of Australia, Thredbo entrance and car park

Elke was awarded the 2010 Duchar and Tamsin Davy Prize from the Ski Club of Australia for her landscape design, documentation and project management of the entrance, signage, and car park zone at the Ski Club of Australia, Thredbo. The design included an installation of one of Thredbo's original chairlift chairs as a swing, alpine landscaping, backlit signage in stone retaining walls, storage area, and outdoor underground heating.

Elke receives recognition at The 2009 Sydney Architecture Festival

Acting for the Australian Institute of Landscape Architect (AILA) Elke Haege has received recognition for her valuable involvement, contribution, and time in the co-ordination of The 2009 Sydney Architecture Festival.

She was responsible for co-ordinating key note speakers on relevant topics including Leornard Lynch's discussion on the design of landscape and place as the foundations of home, our identity and real sustainability using Sydney and wider Australian project examples.

Elke Haege invited to the AILA Executive Committee 2010
Elke has been invited to the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA’s) Executive Committee for 2010. She has previously been heavily involved in the Sydney Architecture Fesitval, AILA’s Awards Event and Christmas Party over the past 2 years.
Elke will continue to be involved on the Board of Landscape Architecture’s National Education Review.
